Small Businesses

The Dynamic Outsourcing System is the Small Business Resource

Rather than having a contract for the support of an  entire business process (or multiple processes) over a contractual period of  time, each BPO transaction can be a stand-alone entity. When a process is broken down into its component parts, each transaction (sub-process) becomes much simpler and can be focused on by the appropriate people without the overhead of normal business process outsourcing to a single provider. So where does  support come from at the transactional level? It comes from the many small  businesses and the myriad of unemployed individual business professionals and skilled workers As a stand-alone entity a transaction is an  inviting proposition for small companies and individual business professionals which have special skills to bring to bear. Most large business services providers are not interested in participating in transactional business process outsourcing and will even try to convince potential clients that such activity is not really business process outsourcing. Transactional business processing  places these firms in a constant state of competition, an environment in which they are not comfortable. They prefer engagements which are comprehensive and  extend for long contractual periods of time.

The Dynamic Outsourcing System makes transactional business process outsourcing easy, convenient, and very competitive. There are no contracts, service level agreements, or other overhead associated with them (unless they are desired). As a Requester (the client role in the Dynamic Outsourcing System), you have:

  • queue preferences that you can set (if the defaults do not fit your needs) that controls the transaction and bidding process
  • instructions for the transaction that you can keep on your PC and upload as part of setting up the transaction (you may also enter or modify the  instructions)
  • offer price for the transaction that places a cap (maximum price) on  the bid prices
  • rejection of any transaction work product that does not satisfy you
  • rating the Provider insures only the best can bid on work

The rating of Providers is a  key aspect of the transaction process. It is quick (two clicks of the mouse). Providers are rated by you, as a Requester, on a scale of 1 through 10 where 1 is poor and 10 is excellent. The prime importance of this rating is that in your queue preferences you can set the minimum average rating required by a Provider to bid on your transactions. Through the Dynamic  Outsourcing System you have the opportunity to rate Providers on everything they do. What better incentive is there to do the job right the first time? If a Providers average rating drops too low, they are out  of work opportunities!.

Not So Obvious Features

Registration

When you register, either as a company or individual, there are checkboxes to select the user types (Requester and Provider) you desire. You may check either or both user types in a single registration.

Context Sensitive LOGON and User SESSIONS

You may have noticed that there is no explicit LOGON for the system. The system is context sensitive, i.e., if you go to a place that requires a particular type of user, the system tells you the type of LOGON that is required and gives you the opportunity to LOGON. If you are already logged on as some user type and another user type is required, the system checks your profile and if you are registered for the user type required, it allows you to add a SESSION for that user type without going through the LOGON. You may have up to three (3) SESSIONS at any particular time. You SWITCH between the sessions by clicking on the SESSION you desire (REQUESTER, PROVIDER or ADMINISTRATOR) just below the top navigation bar.

Manage Your Own Internal Projects FREE

You can use the Dynamic Outsourcing System to manage your own internal projects. No one else sees your projects but your REQUESTER and your PROVIDERS and there is no bidding on your projects. If you wish to do this, just:

  1. Register as a COMPANY or INDIVIDUAL with user type of REQUESTER (or both REQUESTER and PROVIDER).
  2. If you registered as a COMPANY, add all the users that you want to work on your projects as user type PROVIDER.  If you want to do it with INDIVIDUAL registrations, register one as REQUESTER and the remainder as PROVIDERS.
  3. When the PROVIDERS logon to the system, have them record their Provider ID and give it to the REQUESTER.
  4. The REQUESTER should SELECT all the QUEUES that they will be adding project entries too.
  5. In the QUEUE PREFERENCES for these queues, select Provider Preference = Yes
  6. ADD all the Provider IDs to the Provider Preference List (even outside Providers if you wish).
  7. In the Provider Selection, select either Round Robin (each in turn) or In Order (always start at the top of the list).
  8. Select the SUBMIT button.
